Yesterday when I wrote in another voice, my character definitely needed an attitude adjustment. My husband read it and asked if the guy was him. I assured him it was just an imaginary character. (Hubby takes good care of himself–going to the gym and eating healthy.)
But however hard I try to make this fictitious guy’s life different from mine, a few choices he made are the result of what goes on in my head. So I might just be a bit negative…sometimes complaining about tiny pebbles (I wrote about that here) that bother me, when all I have to do is give the annoyance over to the lord, to make space for honoring and enjoying the good stuff.
So this morning I visited one of my favorite bloggers and read about her vision of happiness. http://shailajav.wordpress.com/2015/01/03/2015-word-of-the-year/comment-page-1/#comment-3659
My word for the year is gratitude. I already started my list of blessings several weeks past and will continue to add to it. What is your word for the new year?
I like your word of the year.
mine is inner-peace
I am so touched to hear that I am one of your favourite bloggers! I think you have chosen the perfect word for the year. Thank you for being part of my blogging circle and here’s to a year filled with both gratitude and happiness for you ❤
