V is for Victimized or Victorious

It’s easy to let your mind convince you that you are a victim.  Any roadblock that gets in your way becomes another excuse to fuel your mind; to convince you that even though good may come to you somehow you are not worth it.  The standard that you set for yourself is higher than you can attain.

Or You can turn your stumbling blocks into stepping-stones.  Whatever hardship comes your way and is overcome serves as another rung in the ladder on your way to victory.  Each time a goal is met it becomes easier to attain the next step.

Human beings, by changing the inner attitudes of their minds. can change the outer aspects of their lives.  William James

So take charge of your life.  It will take courage to cast aside self-doubt and fear. Stir in a lot of faith and add a dash of expectation. Visualize your goals. I just read “Commit.” by Linda Formichelli; (Amazon offers the hardback or e-book.) She gives concrete examples of how to conquer all the roadblocks and fulfill your goals.

Ralph Waldo Emerson said, “Nothing great was ever achieved without enthusiasm.”  So add a bit of that.
