| REASON | BREAK | STAY | GIVE | RAIN |
{I chose poetry to answer this challenge –five words repeat in five stanzas}
Give me a break
Let me stay
The reason I can’t go
I don’t like the rain.
Rain, rain stay away
Mother sang a reason
Give us sunshine
A break from the clouds.
The rainbow stays
Reminds of the reason
God does not break
The promise he gives after rain.
Break the mood
Of rain drops falling
Give me a reason
You will stay.
Break bread with me love
Stay while the rain gives reason
And we wait for the promise
of the rainbow.

I love this so much! What a beautiful poem!! Your talent is on full display here. This is just wonderful. Blessings, Sarah
Thank you so much for your lovely compliment. I enjoyed trying something new with the prompt.
I like the way you used free verse and with each stanza you incorporate the 5 words. It is playful and the words trip off the tongue as the reader gets to hear the words read in their head or out loud. You challenged the challenge with an interested twist. I like your ingenuity. – jk
