This week’s photo prompt is provided by Footy and Foodie. Thank you for our photo prompt!
Jon hungered to win the contest, create the best work; make his father proud. The chance was right before him if he could work fast enough. The lingering light would only grant him a small window of opportunity. Best seize it while he had time. He searched through his backpack. Found the camera at the bottom underneath blue jeans. Fingers deftly adjusted settings. Light almost gone. Shaking hands steady camera on the hood of the car. Snap, just in time. Another click just to make sure. Only then, in a moment of panic, did he remember he had forgotten to insert the chip.
Oh what a sick feeling that would be, to know you had the perfect scene to photograph but it would only last a few minutes. You take the picture and realize you forgot the chip to the camera, making the snaps worthless. Great story!
Thanks, Joy!
Oops. I hate when that happens.
Awfully disappointing, true!
Been there, never nice, I used to leave the lenses cap on.🙂
That would be so disappointing!
